I run this thang.
So welcome to my blog! However, this lifestyle blog isn’t just for me, it’s for you too, and when I say YOU, I mean you as in the girl who lives here in NYC (or swears up and down she belongs here), is somewhere between 18 and 34, and proud of her black excellence! The girl that’s juggling school, work and a personal life, while still struggling to turn her passion into an everyday thing.
Someone who’s a social buterfly and loves to make new friends, whether it’s at the bar or in the classroom. Who’s bubbly personality and loud mouth would get her in trouble if people didn’t assume she was innocent, as she says what she wants, when she wants and never holds back. But may also be a little shy at times, and would prefer to stand in the corner, until someone starts talking to her.
Someone who’s always working, but still finds time to read a new book, flip through a magazine or check in on social media. You probably also love going out for great food, sweet drinks and watching art in every form there is, even if you can’t do it all yourself. So if that sounds like someone like you, then you’ve come to the right place!
If you enjoy laughing and learning new things all at the same time, then you’ve come to the right place!
Long story short, I write about what ever I please, but it’ll always be interesting! Whether it be the latest fashion trend (that’s clearly stupid), an uh-mazing indie artist that’s better than Chris Brown (okay, clearly that was a joke, although it’s quite possible these days), a beauty product that was totally freaking awesome, or my views on politics (trump, bad, no vote for he), I’ve got an opinion and I’m not afraid to use it!
I’ve also got a few blog series you may be interested in as well, like my:
This Shxt Dope series
which is a product / service review series, where I give you the full scoop on how great [what ever] it was, and I’ll most likely answer all the questions you’ve been dying to have answered … but if I don’t, you can always reach out to me via social media or email and personally ask me yourself (2x a month)
The Girl Behind the Brand series
which is an interview series that highlights amazing female business owners to get to know them a little bit better, because sometimes we tend to get lost behind our brands and people forget that we’re still human, so if you know a “famous” business owner tell her I wanna holla at her (1x a month)
Sanaa Rants series
which is all about moi and my opinions on the latest trending topics, because sometimes I just need to rant and get it all out, and sometimes things happen that just leave me sitting there like W D F ? LOL so yeah, that’s where this good stuff will be (1x a month)
Listen I’m Grown series
which is a series of blog posts that talk about what it’s like being a “real” adult, and all the grown up topics people tend to shy away from on their blogs, you know like: sex, drugs, alchohol LOL (don’t worry I don’t do drugs, hell I only take medicine when I’m dying, lol) you can read more about this series and why it was started right here (1x a month)
… so be sure to look out for those each month as well.
Here’s a few of my most popular blog posts to get you started. (Enjoy & thanks for stopping by!)
Sanaa Mail isn’t like every other bloggers monthly blog update! For one, I’ll actually talk to you! So if you’re reading my mail and laughing, don’t just laugh to yourself, respond and let’s talk about it! At the end of each week you’ll get a recap of everything that happened on my blog that week, in case you missed something, plus anything else I think is worth talking about, along with coupons, deals, etc. You’ll also be the first to know when I’m giving away something, so you can be the first to enter for your chance to win. And, if you include your birthday, I’ll send you a little something to help you celebrate your day! How ’bout that?!
So what are you waiting for?
But I think you’ve read enough for one day! SIKE! Lol Head on over to my about me page to read a bit more about why I started this blog and who I am! Or you can always just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask!
