This post has been a long time coming, but due to so many damn things happening at once, I had to push it back a bit. However, when I received the products from Heritage 1933, I was beyond excited.
The packaging is uh-mazing, and I was ready to fall in love with my new hair product and face mask. So when I didn’t fall in love with either of them, I was a bit upset. I mean the mask was okay, but I don’t know if it really did anything to my face other than scare the hell out of me when I first put it on and I literally couldn’t move my face because it was so hard. LOL
But I was really upset that I couldn’t make this new hair product MY new hair product. It was just way to oily for me, and I couldn’t stand the smell. (If the smell’s not fruity, I don’t want it. I know I’m weird. LOL) But guess what?
My sister freaking loved it! She was so damn excited I didn’t want it because that meant this was the first hair product in the house that she could have all to herself. LOL I’m pretty sure she used it every damn day, and even though the smell drove me freaking crazy, she was in love.
That’s when I realized that just because I didn’t like it, doesn’t mean that someone else won’t! So since I hired her as my assistant, one of her first tasks this month was to write this review. Why? Because, I’m not gonna lie, there was NO way I was gonna be able to write this thang without lying. So instead of lying or compromising my integrity in any sort of way, I let the crazy child write her first review.
Here’s what she had to say about Heritage 1933.
(Oh and don’t worry, she’s not a slave. LOL I’m giving her half of the compensation I was supposed to receive for this post, for a job well done, in addition to her weekly pay. Now she can use some of it to go buy another jar of this stuff since our mom broke the last one. LOL)
Hair-itage 1933 Works Wonders
Just a hair product? Please. This piece of magic is way more than that, I’m talking multipurpose. “And I Don’t Care” by Heritage 1933 is a whipped hair and body moisturizer. Honestly I believe the meaning of its name is “put it on anywhere you like, like you don’t care”
Not only did I use this for my hair but it replaced the cream that I used. It’s a great replacement. Normally, I’d use lotion on my skin but when it gets hot and sweaty, it melts off.
One of the best things about the moisturizer is that it feels like whip cream. I know, I know, it’s because its “whipped”, but have you ever thought of putting whip cream in your hair?
I honestly hope not. LOL
But then it melts into an oil, which helps dry hair and skin while adding some shine … AWESOME. The fun part was putting my hand in it honestly.
I thought it smelled great, although my sister would beg to differ. I guess everyone is different when it comes to scents. Personally, it smelled, strangely, calming and hard to describe.
After I used it, my hair felt softer and my skin remained moist for a long time.
I was so happy! No need for the constant reapplying.
Now you might be wondering, why would I give up my old hair products for this just because some wacko on the internet told me to?
For one, that is all too true, but I’m just recommending it. Everyone’s hair is different so use the product that works best for you. However, if you’re looking for something new, you might wanna splurge a bit on this product. It’s ok, trust me, you’re 100% worth it.
Plus it’s for a good cause. Heritage 1933 is striving to provide woman and children in shelters with items to benefit their hair care while standing for natural beauty towards all women.
So don’t be afraid of your natural hair, that hair is a part of your heritage. I guess you can call it hairitage . Get It? Hair-itage. Sighh. no one gets me. LOL
Yeah, she’s just as lame as I am, but isn’t that why you love us?
Either way, what did you think? Are you gonna try this stuff out? I think it works best on type 4 hair. I have type 3, and it gets oily so easily, so I think that’s why this didn’t work out so well for me, as it did for her! But as you can see she loved it, so maybe you will too! If you have questions, just let me know!
